CRECE Project 2019: The call for participants is open to final year students from FEDEC schools, or very recent graduates
The idea is that we will create a show together, which could include either short forms (acts: 5–8 minutes) or intermediate length pieces with several artists (10–15 minutes). The creation time is short (10 days max.: it’s hard work). There are no limits on the character of the pieces, on the contrary, we would like to include the wide variety of textures that are found today in contemporary circus expression.

The performances will be at:
CIRC&CO FESTIVAL (Ávila, 30-31st of August, 2019)
TEATRO CIRCO PRICE (Madrid, 12-15th of September, 2019)
Schedule:
25/August: arrival of the participants to Madrid.
25 /August: travel to Ávila.
From 26-29/August: putting the show together in Ávila.
29/August: General rehearsal and lighting.
30-31/August: 2 shows.
1/September: travel to Madrid.
From 2-11/September: creation of the show and adaptation in Teatro Circo Price
11/September. Lighting
12/September: Premiere
From 12-15/September: 4 shows.
16/September: Airport. Travel home.
CRECE wants to be a revitalizing rush of fresh water on the circus, an ancient art that looks tirelessly for its modernity. CRECE is a laboratory of creation in contemporary circus. CRECE is an open road, without prejudices, which wants to experience, to play, to create… CRECE wants to offer a space and a moment to emergent artists for the investigation and for the meeting, a scenary with all the technical necessary to realize a risky and actual work.
CONDITIONS:
Travel, lodging, food, production expenses will be covered by the organization.
Possibilities of transporting large apparatus are limited.
PARTICIPANTS:
Depending on distances (=$$ in travel expenses) we will be able to accommodate 8 to 12 performers, of whom several will be from Carampa (actually in Carampa or that began in Carampa). The participants should be current students of the last course or very recent graduates (2017/18).
