17-19th February 2022 the twelfth edition of Subcase takes place in a new collaboration between Subtopia, Riksteatern and Manegen. Subcase happens at the same time as the CirkusMania festival, which offers a wide public program of circus performances.
Subcase is a showcase and a meeting place where presenters can discover contemporary circus and meet artists. The program will offer pitch presentations by 32 artistic companies based in Sweden and in the Nordic and Baltic countries, as well as seminars on current circus themes. The pitches will represent projects for smaller and larger venues, for different audiences and in different artistic genres.
The program takes place at Subtopia in Alby and at Riksteatern in Hallunda. It will also be possible to take part of some of the program online. Subcase is held in both English and Swedish, with live interpretation.

Friday 18th February – Pithces of 16 artistic projects
Saturday 19 February – Pitches of 16 artistic project
The 7th December the full Subcase program will be released and the registration will open.
The 25th November the festival program for CirkusMania will be released.
Artistic companies interested in applying to pitch their projects find instructions and application form on Subcase website. Deadline to apply is 12th November.
Subcase 2022 is co-organised by Subtopia, Riksteatern and Manegen in collaboartion with CircusInfo Finland, Performing Arts Hub Norway, Wildtopia, Cirkuliacija and New Theatre Institute of Latvia.
