Open Call for introduction to Edinburgh Festival Fringe

Introduction day at EDFRINGE 2019 >>> 21.08.19 at 11AM – 4.30PM

Are you planning to or dreaming of playing at Edinburgh Festival Fringe? We are inviting Nordic artists/producers to attend an introduction day at the mother of all fringes (and the term fringe theatre, dates back to 1947) >>> The Edinburgh Festival Fringe on the 21 August 2019 11AM – 4.30PM.

(NB: 5PM – 6.30PM, Nordic Afternoon Tea at the Norwegian Consulate in Edinburgh – part of NORDIC PRESENCE initiative).

Programme

– Introduction to the festival by Nordic artists/producers with experience from the festival and also the staff of the EDfringe.
– Visit to venues (small and large scale). Experience the fast stage-shifts between shows.
– Networking

Info

– Selected participants will be able to get an in-depth introduction about performing and preparing for a festival as EDfringe in addition to networking with colleagues from the Nordic countries.
– You need to cover your travel to Edinburgh and accommodation.
– Food/drinks and local transportation during the introduction day is covered by the organizers.
