Artistic Development within the Circus Discipline 1
Spring 2019 – start date 21 January 2019
As a student you will meet various ”Impulse givers” almost every week for one or two sessions that will talk about and work with, their own methods and practices with the students. These sessions will sometimes be more theoretical and sometimes more physical. It will be your responsibility to take what you feel is relevant from these sessions into your own work.
Artistic Development within the Circus Discipline 2
Spring 2019 – start date 21 January 2019
This course aims to facilitate a deeper consciousness and broadening of the student’s own creative methods and processes.
Handstand, Specialisation 1
Spring 2019 – start date 23 April 2019
This is an opportunity to develop your abilities in handstand in an inspiring environment. During your studies you will meet with a teacher on a daily basis. The teacher of the course is Alexander ”Sasha” Gavrilov, assistant professor in circus at the Circus Department at DOCH. Sasha Gavrilov has a lifetime experience as a handstand and hand to hand performer and has been teaching circus in Moscow, the Circus Pilots at Cirkus Cirkör and at DOCH for the past twelve years.

This course is for you who wish to further develop your technique and artistic skills in handstand. The course builds on Handstand, specialisation 1.

This course is for you who wish to develop and deepen your technique and artistic skills in handstand. The course builds on Handstand, specialisation 1 and 2.

This course is for you who wish to develop and deepen your technique and artistic skills in handstand. The course builds on Handstand, specialisation 3.
