Scream before you fall is a contemporary circus piece which combines tightwire dancing and juggling.
The wire is tightened through the spinning juggling rings while the tightwire dancer is balancing on it. The juggler is finding new routes for her juggling rings amongst the feet of the tightwire dancer. The collaboration between the tightwire dancer and the juggler brings on stage a visually pleasing duo dance up in the air, on the floor and between.
Their exploration with wire and rings makes them deal with play, competition and desire to win. They challenge each others and their relationship with different opinions about who is doing all the work and who is getting credit for it. Balancing between shared and own time causes difficulties for their relationship.
