But only to slither

Recover Laboratory is a holistic art performance. It is participatory, strongly experiential labyrinth, that you enter alone. It focuses on the audience as individuals. It combines contemporary art and circus creating a new kind of art concept that is ultimately a multi-sensory experience. It allows the viewer to be totally immersed in its world. Recover Laboratory is like a ritual, in which the guest can let go of their everyday self and consciously as well as unconsciously bite into questions that will stay with the them long after the show.

Located in Caponier Blomcreutz the Recover Laboratory - Creutz Edition is a journey to the experience of freedom inside our minds. It focuses on its theme, freedom, drawing from the past of the building. It studies the viewer’s and the performer’s relation to freedom and imprisonment. We inevitably place expectations and demands on other people. The constant and continuous movement of the performance creates a story of the conflict of freedom and imprisonment while strengthening the experience of the underground. Recover Laboratory studies also the contact of the viewer and performer: how to free yourself to see the other undressed only to their humanity.

The installation is a part of Viaporin Kekri 2016 event in Suomenlinna Island.
