FUR! is a physical performance: the name itself carries a certain animalistic trait towards which also the background of dance and acrobatics point. In FUR!, the animalistic trait is mainly implied in the form of abstractions within the performance. At the same time, FUR! creates a new language that cannot be simply labelled as 'acrobatics' or 'dance'.
FUR! brings together artists from Japan, Ukraina, Sweden and Finland. New interrelations emerge between people and things when different artistic traditions and cultures of performance art convene. The intensity of the dialogue between four different nationalities and different art forms rises during the performance, from the low-key beginning to the astonishing end.
