Pelat is a solo show by Joan Catal - , a performance combining dance, theatre and circus, where, within a circular space, the public becomes involved in the relationship between a man and a wooden pole. The interaction with the spectators creates a sense of community, collective action, and an experience of taking part of an ephemeral ritual. Pelat is silence, expectation, movement, tension and spontaneous participation. A mysterious gem that is inspired by Catalan tradition.
