Capilotractées is Elice Abonce Muhonen's and Sanja Kosonen's contemporary circus show based on the traditional circus's legendary hairhang discipline. The show gives a new and lightly life to the brutal sounding thecnique, making the act fun and entertaining. Capilotractées premiered in France 2013 and after that it has had about 100 presentations in over 10 countries. The show is build scattering the codes of performing arts, the two woman's show combines circus, drama theatre, dance, humour, live music, hair science, puppetry and music theatre, Capilotractées is an absurd study of the circus and hair. Hair is an important part of everyone's identity, the relationship towards hair is intimate and it is related to childhood memories and fears of growing old. Therefore the show addresses all hairy and hairless people.
