Celebrate the living
The Feminine
The belly
The voice
Joyously, strangely, with great femininity and bestiality

With this short and intense play, I delve deeper into my reflections on femininity. "Me, a 42 year old woman, a circus artist drawn towards theatre. What does this age inspire in me?".

I thought a lot about my grandmothers, with the wish to pay tribute to them through this exploration of the various facets of femininity and to bring to light different states of the body, sensations, and images.

By mixing prowess and strangeness, the archaic and the comic, the committed body, breast juggling, belly dancing, the danced fabrication of a kind of ritual mask made with eggshells, my quest is in the realm of femininity.

I broach here the singing voice, without text, as a very personal way to express emotion, to invent a language without words, coming from afar, both in the present and from another time.

The presence of eggs, like a common thread, ingested, swallowed, sucked magically. To get closer to the clown and to the darker woman.

What is important to me is to be free, free to explore everything, both the infinitely gracious and the monstrous, each being, in my opinion, potentially present within the other.
