Two solos in one night!
Light as a feather or deadly serious? Mortimer plays with death. This solo from Ville Walo balances puppetry and contemporary circus - it's a twisted fairytale with electronic machinery hidden inside itself. This performance is an intensified, shortened version of the original piece.
One of us and a rope. Magical images of weightlessness. Sweeping below the surface, movement entrances as all eyes are bound to the strong fibres. Reflections slide across the surface, spilling onto the skins of onlookers.
Surface had its premiere in November 2013, charming both audiences and critics alike. Now this masterpiece returns to Cirko.
