'Attraction of a duo hanging by their hair'

A single hair takes 100 grams amount of weight. 150,000 hairs take 15 tons amount of weight. Women's hair grow in a cycle of 4 - 7 years, men's in 2 - 4 years. That means that men's hair grows more quickly.

In a lifetime, a single hair can grow even 10 meters, the hair of one person a total of 1000 kilometres.

Every day we loose 50 - 100 hairs, in a year all together 30,000 hairs.
You can't crush a hair with a hammer.

This latest piece from Sanja Kosonen and Elice Muhonen is based on an almost forgotten technique of traditional circus - hair hanging. The performance combines warm humour with serious thinking, and rock 'n' roll with poetry, pondering the emotions and meanings related to and aroused by hair.
