Together at the Villa is a collaboration between a juggler and an accordionist in the atmospheric Villa Magia.
On entering the room, the audience finds two artists each creating art with their hands. Marieke Hopman is a Dutch artist and Artistic Director of the Bach Festival in Dordrecht. Her instrument is the accordion, playing which is very physical and demands a well-honed finger technique. Also making art with his whole body, but especially his hands, is Onni Toivonen, a juggler who has moved back to Finland from Stockholm. The combination of Onni’s gentle kinetic language and accordion music promises an unforgettable interlude rich in atmosphere at the Villa Magia.
