Glorious Forms is one of the space-oriented, multidisciplinary collaborations born during Festival week in the village of Kaukonen. It is the encounter of two artists only fleetingly visiting the village.
Olavi Louhivuori is a jazz drummer and composer who has toured the world and now lives in Helsinki. At the Kaukonen Community Hall he will be creating a world of rhythm that constitutes half the two-artist duet. Emile Pineault will be coming to Kaukonen from Montreal in Canada. A versatile acrobat, he tests the limits of the body and acrobatics in a kinetic mix of acrobatics and contemporary dance.
