Communications officer Johanna Mäkelä from CircusInfo Finland participates in the international conference on circus research at Münster University, Germany during June 28–30. The conference examines the question of space in the context of traditional, new, and contemporary circus through the lens of semiotics.
The information and documentation centres of circus – CircusInfo Finland, Circuscentrum, Cirqueon, Le centre de documentation du Cnac and École nationale de cirque Montreal – will discuss the possibilities of mediating the information on circus research within the academic community and to wider audiences during the Strategic Planning Session on Thursday June 29.
