This year Berlin Circus Festival gives a special focus on companies from Finland. Three Finnish productions and hidden specials on the festival site at Tempelhofer Feld will bring audience closer to Finland from 25th of August to 3rd of September. Festival partners with Finnland-Institut in Deutschland.
The three Finnish companies performing at the festival are:
Sisus Sirkus: Mosh Split 26.–27.8.
Race Horse Company: Motosikai 29.–30.8.
Clunker Circus: Wonderfully Much of Everything 2.–3.9.
The festival offers also a residency period and an opportunity perform a work-in-progress show for one Finnish company which will be chosen later among applicants.
CircusInfo Finland attends the festival and organises a study trip for five Finnish producers and artists, who will get an insight into the festival as well as Berlin circus scene.
